Future Leaders’ Mentoring Programme

FuHeL – Future Healthcare Leaders in Respiratory Medicine – MENTORING PROGRAMME
INTRODUCTION
Since the 3rd International Workshop on Lung Health in 2017, the congress has offered the opportunity to 10–12 early career clinicians and researchers to attend a side “Mentoring Programme” (during the event), dedicated to helping younger professionals boost their career.
The Mentoring Programme has been delivered by successful, young researchers and clinicians, who will personally support participants in discovering new strategies, to help them succeed in the international environment.
Every year the programme is updated and adapted to the background of the participants.
- The program will cover topics such as, how to:
- Identify and seize opportunities
- Avoid (and) overcome obstacles
- Successfully manage relationships
- Move forward with limited resources
- Deal with the challenges of work-life balance (in different national and organizational environments)
- Stand out in the competitive landscape (local and international)
In IWLH 2025, the FUHEL Programme will also explore the Research Clinical Trail World, giving participants the opportunity to:
- Propose research and clinical trial ideas to their mentors
- Explore the development process for clinical and research trials
- Discuss trials in all aspects and phases, with mentors and colleagues
- Attend a working session to develop a “clinical/research trial start up”
The Programme will take place at the Workshop from January 16th-18th, 2025.
