LATEST NEWS
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure we invite you to participate and actively contribute to the XII Edition of the International Workshop on Lung Health: Innovative Medicine.
The beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal, will host our annual workshop: and the theme this year will be INNOVATIVE MEDICINE.
Our workshop will include the latest updates, discoveries and research that lies at the forefront of the respiratory medicine.
Thanks to the commitment of our experts, partners from the pharmaceutical industry, and most of all, our distinguished colleagues from around the world – Respiratory Medicine has reached a new era, where decisive outcomes and milestones have been reached.
The Workshop will open with Respiratory Infections, and then we will dedicate the central day of the meeting, to Asthma and COPD, where we will focus on giving a platform to the most recent studies, and the most innovative approaches to
improving the management of these pathologies and patient quality of life.
We will conclude the XII IWLH by dedicating Saturday morning’s closing sessions to the most recent outcomes on respiratory research: transplantation and recent new therapeutic options, NTM and its difficult management, Alpha 1 and other important emerging issues.
As we believe that the efforts and contributions of the younger generation is central to the value and success of IWLH, this year our Rising Stars Session will open the Workshop, and the FUHEL Programme will accompany a group of 10/12 Young Researchers and Clinicians over 3 days of mentoring.
Finally, don’t miss this amazing opportunity to present your valuable work during the Poster Sessions or being selected as an Oral Communication presenter.
As your contribution is fundamental to the success of the Workshop, we ask you to
join the IWLH Abstract Calls from May 2024, and enter your work.
Thank you once again for joining us and we hope to welcome you in Lisbon in January 2025.
Yours Sincerely,           Â
