At the 11th International Workshop of Lung Health, abstract presenters can submit their works in two different categories: Oral Communication and Poster.

 

ABSTRACT FOR ORAL COMMUNICATION

The Scientific Committee will select 4 Oral Communications to be presented in the Plenary Room.

A call for original scientific works focused on Respiratory Rare diseases is open.

The not accepted Oral Communications will be included in the Posters session.

Accepted oral communication presenters will have the opportunity to:

  • Present their work during the Oral Communication session scheduled on Saturday January 20th, 2024.
  • Receive the personal feedback of the Presidents and Chairmen of the congress.
  • Compete for the Awards for Best Oral Communication that will grant to the winning presenters the following benefits:
    • Abstracts published on the Official Workshop book of abstract
    • Presenter’s name, profile, abstract and poster published on the congress website
    • Presenter’s name and title of the abstract published on the post–congress newsletter distributed to more than 8.000 European Professional in Respiratory Medicine.
    • Free registration to the 12th International Workshop on Lung Health

Authors presenting an oral communication should be registered participants.

Oral Communication Instructions

The 4 selected oral communication will be requested to comply with the following instructions for the on -site presentation:

  • Prepare a slide kit in Power Point of 5 minutes to be presented in Plenary Room
  • Discuss it during a Question time of 5 minutes
  • Attend the final Abstract Awards Session

 

ABSTRACT FOR POSTER

Accepted poster presenters will have the opportunity to:

  • Present orally their work during the strolling poster session scheduled on Friday, January 19th, 2024.
  • Receive the personal feedback of the Presidents and Chairmen of the congress.
  • Compete for the Awards for Best Poster Presentation that will grant to the winning presenters the following benefits:
    • Abstracts published on the Official Workshop book of abstract
    • Presenter’s name, profile, abstract and poster published on the congress website
    • Presenter’s name and title of the abstract published on the post–congress newsletter distributed to more than 8.000 European Professional in Respiratory Medicine.
    • Free registration to the 12th International Workshop on Lung Health

Authors presenting a poster during the oral poster session should be registered participants. Posters will not be displayed from unregistered authors.

Poster Instructions

In order to be able to present your poster during the Poster Session, please follow the instructions below:

  • Suggested format for poster: A0 (width 84,1 x height 118,9 cm) or similar
  • Suggested orientation: vertical
  • Posters can be set up on January 19th from 12:00 and dismantled January 20th, after 13:00.
  • The poster presenters are requested to stay beside their poster in order to illustrate it to the Committee and to reply to participants’ questions.
  • Only the poster presenters attending the session will be eligible for poster prize. The winners will be chosen during the congress and announced in the last session of the conference on Saturday, January 20th.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

In order to participate in the selection process, please present before November 3rd, 2023 the following documents:

  • Complete abstract of the original work you would like to candidate for Posters or Oral Communication.
  • Abstracts can be submitted exclusively online via the congress website before November 3rd, 2023.
  • Select the abstract category: “Poster” or “Oral Communication”

A notification of acceptance will be mailed to submitters within November 24th, 2023

Authors presenting a poster during the poster session or presenting an oral communication should be registered participants.

Accepted authors can benefit from the Early Bird registration fee by registering before November 27th, 2023.
Otherwise, authors need to register by January 2nd, 2024 in order to confirm their presentation.
