SECRETARIAT DESKS

The secretariat desk will open on January 20th from 12.00 (noon) and will be open as follows:

  • January 20, 2022: 12.00 am – 8.30 pm (end of the Welcome Ceremony)
  • January 21, 2022: 00 am – 6.00 pm
  • January 22, 2022: 00 am – 2.00 pm (end of the Workshop)

EXHIBITION

The set up and dismantling of the exhibition area will be accessible only for sponsors with an exhibition booth.

  • Set up: January 19th from 08.00 am to 11.00 am
  • Dismantling: January 22nd from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm

ADMISSION

The participant’s name badge will be provided by the Organizing Secretariat by e-mail. All participants are requested to print it and wear the badge throughout the congress. Only badge holders will be admitted to the appropriate sessions, exhibition and poster area and social events.

HEALTHCARE MEASURE

Please check on the congress website www.lung-health.org/2022 the updated healthcare measures to access the country and to attend the conference. Please note that aligned with the current Italian regulation, we kindly inform you that access to the Congress Venue is allowed ONLY TO FULLY VACCINATED (or COVID-19 recovered less than 6 months) participants, To be admitted participants should produce an EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE (valid only if obtained thanks to Full Vaccination Cycle or Recovered from COVID-19 less than 6 months before the event date).

Wearing FFP2 masks is recommended.

PRESENCE CONTROL

Effective attendance is checked through badge scanning when entering and coming out of the plenary room. A minimum of 6 hours of effective attendance is required to get the certificate of attendance.

WIFI AT THE CONGRESS VENUE

Free wifi will be available for all congress participants at the congress venue.

To access the wifi network, open the wi-fi connection on your device and click on “UNAHOTELS Hotel Expo Fiera Milano” wi-fi network. Click on “FREE INTERNET ACCESS”, insert your e-mail address, accept the conditions and then you can browse into the web – no username or password requested.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The certificate of attendance will be downloadable from the website www.lung-health.org/2022 using your personal credentials sent by e-mail, starting from January 25, 2022.

Important note: Certificate of attendance will be delivered only to registered participants who attended at least 6 hours of congress sessions. For Group Groups: Please note that in order to send the certificate of attendance to each participant, we will need the personal e-mail.

CONGRESS APP / VIRTUAL PLATFORM

If using your mobile, you go on the congress website www.lung-health.org/2022 and click on “virtual platform” you can access the workshop programme and eventually use the tool to ask questions.

To access the virtual platform, you need the credentials you received when registering, also stated in your confirmation letter. If you meet any problem, ask for assistance at the secretariat desk or write to the virtual helpdesk info@lung-health.org .

EUROPEAN ACCREDITATION

The 9th International Workshop on Lung Health is granted with 14 CME credits (ECMECs®) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) and 17 European CME credits by the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP).

The Credits Certificate is delivered to those having attended the Conference (at least 6h) and having filled the online Scientific Questionnaire.

To download your certificate please log in to the ./ using the personal log-in credentials sent by e-mail, starting from the 25th of January 2022. CME Credits certificates will be downloadable up to the 14th of February 2022. After this date, in order to comply with the reporting deadline of UEMS, the CME Credits will no longer be downloadable.

For Sponsored Groups: Please note that in order to provide the CME certificate to each participant, we will need their personal e-mail address.

INSURANCE

The Congress Organizers cannot accept liability for last minute cancellations, personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress. Registration does not include insurance. It is strongly recommended to subscribe an insurance policy of your choice as you register for the Congress and book your travel.

LANGUAGE

The official language of the Congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

ACCESS TO RECORDED SESSIONS AFTER THE LIVE EVENT

Authorized recorded sessions and lectures will be available for all registered participants on the congress website  www.lung-health.org/2022 from January 26th to July 31st, 2022. To access them click on the “virtual platform” button and enter your personal credentials.
