At the 12th International Workshop of Lung Health, abstract presenters can submit their works in two different categories: Oral Communication and Poster
INSTRUCTIONS
ABSTRACT FOR ORAL COMMUNICATION
The Scientific Committee will select 4 Oral Communications to be presented in the Plenary Room.
A call for original scientific works focused on Respiratory Rare diseases is open.
The not accepted Oral Communications will be included in the Posters session.
Accepted oral communication presenters will have the opportunity to:
- Present their work during the Oral Communication session scheduled on Saturday January 18th, 2024.
- Receive the personal feedback of the Presidents and Chairmen of the congress.
- Compete for the Awards for Best Oral Communication that will grant to the winning presenters the following benefits:
- Abstracts published on the Official Workshop book of abstract
- Presenter’s name, profile, abstract and poster published on the congress website
- Presenter’s name and title of the abstract published on the post–congress newsletter distributed to more than 8.000 European Professional in Respiratory Medicine.
- Free registration to the 13th International Workshop on Lung Health
Authors presenting an oral communication should be registered participants.
The 4 selected oral communication will be requested to comply with the following instructions for the on -site presentation:
- Prepare a slide kit in Power Point of 15 minutes to be presented in Plenary Room
- We kindly suggest to include a Multiple-Choice question, which will be submitted to the audience via the Workshop Web APP. Please send the question to the Organising Secretariat (info@lung-health.org) within January 9th,2025
- Attend the final Abstract Awards Session

ABSTRACTS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Accepted poster presenters will have the opportunity to:
- Present orally their work during the strolling poster session scheduled on Friday, January 17, 2025
- Receive the personal feedback of the Presidents and Chairmen of the congress.
- Have the abstract published in the Abstract Book.
- Compete for the Awards for Best Poster Presentation that will grant to the winning presenters the following benefits:
- Abstracts published on the Official Workshop book of abstract:
- Presenter’s name, profile, abstract and poster published on the congress website
- Presenter’s name and title of the abstract published on the post–congress newsletter distributed to more than 8.000 European Professional in Respiratory Medicine.

Authors presenting a poster during the oral poster session should be registered participants. Posters will not be displayed from unregistered authors.
In order to be able to present your poster during the Poster Session, please follow the instructions below:
Poster Format
Suggested format for poster: A0 (width 84,1 x height 118,9 cm) or similar
Orientation: vertical
Schedule
Posters can be set up on January 16, from 12:00 and dismantled January 18, after 13:00.
- Please refer to the registration desk to know your emplacement.
- The strolling poster session is scheduled on Friday, January 17
- The poster presenters are requested to stay beside their poster in order to illustrate it to the Committee and to reply to participants’ questions.
- Only the poster presenters attending the session will be eligible for poster prize.
The winners will be chosen during the congress and announced in the last session of the conference on Saturday, January 20.

In order to participate in the selection process, please present before November 7th , 2024 the following documents:
- Complete abstract of the original work you would like to present during the congress.
- Abstracts can be submitted exclusively online via the congress website before November 7th , 2024.
- Select the abstract category: “Oral, Poster or Rising Star”

HOW TO
SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
A notification of acceptance will be mailed to submitters within November 16, 2024.
Accepted authors can benefit from the Early Bird registration fee by registering before November 22nd, 2024.
Otherwise, authors need to register by December 18th, 2024, to confirm their poster presentation.
Posters from unregistered authors will not be displayed during the congress.
