ADMISSION (FOR THOSE PHYSICALLY PRESENT)

The participant’s name badge will be provided by the Organizing Secretariat (detailed instructions will follow). All participants are requested to wear the badge.


AIFA

For Italian Sponsors or Sponsored Groups from Italy the AIFA dossier should be submitted not later than 13 November 2020. Please contact the secretariat to know which is the Italian Agency taking care of the AIFA pre-request. The Organizing Secretariat will provide all the required documents within October 10, 2020. The procedure must be completed by the Sponsor within November 13, 2020 and officially communicated to the Organizing Secretariat.


CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The certificate of attendance will be downloadable from the website www.lung-health.org using the personal log-in credentials sent by e-mail, starting from January 19th , 2021.

For Sponsored Groups: Please note that in order to send the certificate of attendance to each participant, we will need the personal e-mail address.

The Certificate of attendance will only be delivered to those having attended the Conference.


EUROPEAN ACCREDITATION

An application has been submitted to EBAP (European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology) for CME accreditation of this event as well as to UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialist).


HELP DESK

An technical helpdesk will be available throughout the live experience. Contact details will be provided on your confirmation letter and congress website.


LANGUAGE

The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.


LETTER OF INVITATION (FOR THOSE PHYSICALLY PRESENT)

The Secretariat will be pleased to send invitation letters. A letter of invitation often facilitates the procedure of obtaining a Visa. Please note that the letter is not a commitment to provide any financial support.


LIST OF PARTICIPANTS WITH CONTACT

To allow interaction also after the event with other members of the community we invite you, during the registration process, to accept to be included in the list of participants sharing your contacts details. Only in this case you would see the contacts details of other participants who shared this opportunity.


INSURANCE (FOR THOSE PHYSICALLY PRESENT)

The Congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress. Registration fee does not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that you take an insurance policy of your choice as you register for the Congress and book your travel.


PRESENCE CONTROL

Effective attendance is checked trough

  • badge scanning (for the ones physically presents) when coming in and out of the plenary room.
  • Electronically monitoring for the ones accessing the virtual congress platform

Please note that no more than one person can connect with the same credentials and that the organizing secretariat will not be liable for an incorrect use of the account credentials provided by a person different from the one registered.


VIRTUAL EVENT CREDENTIALS

Your credentials for the virtual event platform are the same you have created for registering to the Conference. In any case, about 10 days before the virtual conference starts you’ll receive a remind of your credentials, how to access the platform and how to maximize your learning experience and virtual interaction.
